Coaching helps employees develop and progress
“It’s also a sound business decision.”
- The total number of working days lost to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2022/2023 was 17.1 million
- Stress, depression and anxiety accounted for 49% of all work-related ill health cases and 54% of all working days lost to ill health*
One-to-one coaching for employees
With so many working days lost in the UK to stress – and with so much emphasis placed on health, wellbeing and a good work/life balance, doesn’t it make good business sense to offer coaching to team members? After all, the most valuable resource your business has is its people.
Lack of managerial support in the workplace is often cited as a big reason for stress, along with the pressures of work and too-tight deadlines. But managers have their own time constraints with their own deadlines to work to, and it’s not always possible to give individual team members the one-to-one support they need.
Coaching gives employees the chance to develop new skills:
- Time management
- Conflict resolution
- Strategic thinking
- Leadership
- Confidence
- Self-awareness
Why me?
I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF); a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP); and a graduate of The Journey Method. And I have 20+ years’ of management experience, leading cross-functional teams, working in fast-paced industries like leisure, education, property and construction.
Unfortunately, I’ve also seen first-hand the problems that can stem from employees becoming overwhelmed, anxious and frustrated.
I can support your HR function
Working with your HR professionals, I’ll help identify staff members who could benefit from one-to-one coaching. We can create programmes that tackle specific issues, helping them to become more confident, more productive – and ultimately feel happier, both in themselves and in the workplace.
