In-house coaching helps employees develop and progress
“It’s also a sound business decision.”
- The total number of working days lost to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2017/18 was 15.4 million
- Stress, depression and anxiety accounted for 44% of all work-related ill health cases and 57% of all working days lost to ill health*
One-to-one coaching for employees
With so many working days lost in the UK to stress – and with so much emphasis placed on health, wellbeing and a good work/life balance, doesn’t it make good business sense to offer personal coaching to team members? After all, the most valuable resource your business has is its people.
Lack of managerial support in the workplace is often cited as a big reason for stress, along with the pressures of work and too-tight deadlines. But managers have their own time constraints with their own deadlines to work to, and it’s not always possible to give individual team members the one-to-one support they need.
In-house coaching gives employees the chance to develop new skills:
- Time management
- Conflict resolution
